Nicole Elizabeth is popularly known as “Snooki” was born on 23rd November 1987 at Santiago, Chile. Snooki was adopted by Italian-American parents when she was six months old and was raised by them. Snooki’s mother is an office manager and her father is a volunteer firefighter and auto- salvage supervisor. Elizabeth received her nickname “Snooki” from her friends when she was in the sixth standard after performing a male character in “Save the Last Dance” because she was the first girl to kiss a boy among her friends.
She is an American reality television personality, television host, author, professional wrestler, and dancer who is best known for being a cast member of the MTV reality show Jersey Shore and starring in Snooki & Jwoww and Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.
Snooki’s book “The Shore Thing” was released in January 2011, which described her new search for love on the boardwalk. Approximately 9,000 copies were sold within the first month of release and she was paid around $32,000 to speak at Rutgers University on April 2011 on the topic which included what type of qualities a student should have, and what important being a celebrity is including the advice.
On 25th October 2011, Snooki’s second novel “Confessions of a Guidette” was released with Gallery Books and this novel was marketed as a part-memoir, part-guide of how to “rock it Jersey-style”. On May 15, 2012, Snooki released her third novel “Gorilla Beach”, which is a sequel of her first novel “Ashore Thing”.
