Offset is the stage name of American rapper, songwriter and singer Kiari Kendrell Cephus. He was born on December 14, 1991 in Lawrenceville, Georgia. He was raised in a middle class family in a mostly white suburb of Gwinnett County, Georgia. Since Offset believed in the fruit of hard work, success came to him in a small interval of time.
In 2009, Offset formed the Migos group with Quavo and Takeoff. Offset, on the other hand, has collaborated with more artists, expanding his repertoire not only in music but also on the small screen, where, together with Migos, he made a stellar appearance in an episode of the Atlanta series.
Originally, Migos gained notable recognition after the release of their single Versace in 2013. In 2015, the trio released their debut studio album with the help of Australian producer Yung Rich Nation. In 2016, Offset appeared in an episode of the Donald Glover series, Atlanta. Under the title “Go for Broke”, the episode was then broadcast on September 13, 2016. He went on to star in campaigns for Gosha Rubchinskiy, Bryce Barnes, and Lavati eventually.
In 2017, their single Bad and Boujee became a viral phenomenon whilst generating a lot of memes due to the lyrics of the song “raindrop, drop top” that were worded by Offset. The song was positioned ar number one on the Billboard Hot 100 list in the United States, with many critics believing that Offset commanded the song. In 2017, the trio released their second studio album, Culture, which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 list in the United States.
