Amy Roloff, real name Amy Jo Knight, was born on September 17, 1964, in Michigan, the USA to Gordon Knight and Patricia Knight. She graduated from the Central Michigan University. She suffers from a form of dwarfism disease known as achondroplasia which is a genetic condition that results in short arms and legs. She married Matthew Roloff in 1987 but the two divorced in the year 2016. She has four children with Roloff named Zachary Roloff, Molly Roloff, Jacob Roloff and Jeremy Roloff.
Amy Roloff is not only an American entrepreneur but is also a reality TV personality. Although the actual onset of her career is unknown, she was first spotted on television in the reality show “Little People, Big World” that premiered on TLC in the year 2006. The reality series was based on the life of the Roloff family farm. Most of the show’s episodes focused on Matthew and Amy and their child Zachary, who also suffers from dwarfism.
Later, TLC announced on August 26, 2010, that the sixth season of the show would be the last one. After the final season of the show, the channel aired special episodes like “Welcome to the Jungle”, “Conquering Mount St. Helens” and “Breaking Down the Walls”.
It was later announced in the year 2013 that Amy Roloff’s popular show “Little People, Big World” would make a comeback in the seventh season. The seventh season of the show premiered on October 29, 2013, and consisted of a total of eight episodes. Later, the show’s eighth season also premiered on September 2, 2014, while the show’s ninth season premiered on July 6, 2015. Later, the show was again renewed with the tenth season that premiered in the year 2016
